Pineapples is a family-owned and operated restaurant, dedicated to providing island fresh cuisine to the east side of the Big Island. Our unique open air restaurant is located in the historic Pineapple Building, located on the corner of Mamo and Keawe Streets in the heart of downtown Hilo.

We’ve put our heart and soul into bringing you a taste of the Big Island, mixed with a hearty dose of aloha. We are also deeply proud of our talented island community. Artwork in the restaurant features local artists from our neighbors at One Gallery. Tuesdays through Sundays, we host a talented lineup of live entertainment featuring local musicians i.e. Darryl Castillo, Bruddah ‘K’, Vaughn ‘Happy’ Valentino, Chad & Lapaka, Sam ‘Onelilikoiboy’, Bruddah Arnold and Tiana Jennings.

E Komo Mai—we look forward to sharing our Big Island Ohana with you.

Pineapples offers a 10% Discount to Active Duty Military Personnel.
